After School Programme For Slum Children

Slum children are totally deprived of a conducive atmosphere for learning. Their parents since mostly illiterate are not able to assist their children in education. Lack of proper guidance and supplementary education leads the children to poor performance which deteriorates their interest in learning. It gradually causes drop out of children from schools.
Therefore TMSSS to help the school going and dropout children in slums started this After School Programme with the financial assistance of Fundacion Maria Francisca ROVIRALTA. 15 such centres are running in Tiruchy slums.
